Introduction Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds. Romans 12:2 On your journey of faith, are you standing still? Do you feel the desire to become a more faithful disciple but lack a way by which to move ahead? Or are you standing at a crossroads, waiting for a guide to point you in the right direction? Spread before you are various paths. Which of them would Christ have you follow? To answer this, you must become aware of the mind of Christ that is already within you. Having the mind of Christ is being aware that the Holy Spirit is at work within you, as it was within Jesus. It is relying on the Spirit to guide you, teach you, comfort you, and rejoice with you. It is allowing the Spirit to create through you; it is participating in the healing of the world. In this book we lead you on a year's journey during which you will come to know and trust the mind of Christ within you. You will become more attuned to its promptings, and you will be renewed, and changed, under its guidance. As Paul writes in his letter to the Romans, those who know Christ are to "be transformed." So, as the mind of Christ grows within you, your perspectives on the world will shift. Your priorities will be reordered. Your commitment to the things of the Spirit will deepen. Your abilities to offer forgiveness, to provide healing, and to make peace will be enhanced. Wherever you are on the path right now as you walk through the pages of this book you will gain deeper insight into the relevance of spiritual truth to your everyday life.
