Margaret Muir

Bio: Margaret was born in England but lives on the island of Tasmania. Combining her love of history and the sea, she has woven these elements into historical fiction stories. As a member of a sail training association, she has sailed on several tall ships, including a voyage across the Atlantic in a barquentine. Her travels have taken her around the world, including to Antarctica -- a location she used as the setting for a maritime fiction adventure. Margaret is currently studying Australian colonial history at university and has had five books published in Britain by Robert Hale Ltd. For more about the author visit: www.margaretmuirauthor.com
